Community Leader

The Community leader is responsible for leading the community and overseeing its operations, being the highest-ranking member of the community & responsible for setting the overall direction and vision for the group.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Setting the overall strategy and goals for the community, in coordination with the Council board.
  • Recruiting and managing other leaders and volunteers within the community, in coordination with the Council board.
  • Ensuring that the community operates smoothly and efficiently
  • Creating and enforcing required rules and policies to maintain a positive, fun & inclusive community environment that represents the core values and foundation of the community, in coordination with the Council board.
  • Providing guidance and support to community members as needed
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with other gaming communities and organizations.

In the event that the active community leader is unable to fulfill their duties or retires, the council board has the authority to dismiss them and initiate an election for a new leader. Other leadership members may submit their candidacy and will be selected through a community-wide election process.

Requirements:

  • Possessing HR knowledge or team working experience.
  • Served the community council board for at least 3 months.
  • Been at the community for at least a year.

 

Global United Forces Council Board 

The Global United Forces Council Board is a dedicated team of experienced and impartial members who have been selected to ensure that the environment and treatment of all members within our gaming community are fair and just. Our council board is committed to upholding the principles of fairness, respect, and sportsmanship within our community.
The council board’s primary responsibilities include handling any disputes or complaints that arise between members, ensuring that all members are treated with respect and dignity, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment for everyone within the community. The council board is composed of members who are well-versed in the rules and regulations of our community, and who are committed to maintaining a high level of professionalism and fairness.

Our council board plays a crucial role in helping our community to thrive in a positive direction for the future. By ensuring that all members are treated fairly and with respect, we can create an environment that is welcoming and inclusive for all. We believe that this is essential for the growth and success of our community, and we are committed to working together to achieve this goal.

 

Council Leader (Leading The Council of GUF) :

The council Leader will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the council & ensure that all decisions between council members always remain healthy, at the same time managing members’ feedback and complaints, and developing policies and procedures that promote fair and equitable treatment of all members. They will work closely with overall leadership members to ensure that our community is safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for all.

We are confident that the council leader will provide strong leadership and guidance to the Council & community, on creating a better and more inclusive gaming culture and environment.

Abilities :

  • Having 2 votes while the members have one.
  • The council leader has the authority to dismiss a community leader if receives enough votes.
  • Approves new candidates joining the council board
  • It is the right of the council leader to dismiss any council members that continue with excessive negative attitudes/toxic behavior.
  • Putting forward suggestions for community changes during council sessions.
  • Authorizing the banishment of members who breach the code of conduct.
  • Authorizing members to become part of the event team or other moderator positions.

 

Council Member:

  • A council member is having a voice in overall decisions being made at the community
  • A council member should always value and respect the votes of all members, just as they value and respect their own votes.
  • The outcome of previous council votes should never alter the attitude of a council member towards the council.
  • If a suggestion put forward by a council member fails to garner sufficient votes and is subsequently dropped, it should never result in any change in that member’s attitude towards the council. , any personal beliefs about being right or wrong, hostile attitudes, or accusations directed towards the council for making wrong decisions are strictly prohibited for council members. Any violation of this rule will lead to immediate removal from the council. All discussions and decisions among council members should be conducted in a healthy manner. Any excessive negativity or unhealthy debates during council meetings may result in the removal of the member from the board.
  • Any council member who attempts to privately influence the opinions of other members of the council regarding a decision will be dismissed from the council and may even face a ban from the community. Such behavior will be considered as an act of corruption.

  • Authorizing members to become part of the event team or other moderator positions.

Requirements:

  • Possessing HR knowledge or team working experience.
  • Been at the community for at least 8 months.
  • Already unlocked the Legend Achievement.
  • Qualified members of the community, including legends, may be nominated by other members to serve as a member of the community council. Their nomination would be subject to review and approval by the council leader and other active members.
